Common questions

Can I just create an event normally?

Absolutely. You can log in and use our simple Create Event form, or start a chat with the Nowt On WhatsApp channel. Whatever suits you best.

Do you offer ticketing?

We're purely an event discovery and promotion platform. We provide an optional button so people can click through to wherever you sell tickets.

Is there a cost to list my events?

During the pilot (April–July 2026) everything is completely free — events, WhatsApp integration, social media syncing, all of it. After the pilot, we plan to keep a free tier for organisers with occasional events. A paid plan (expected £5–£10/month) will be available for those wanting multiple active listings and full automation. Nothing changes without notice.

When is Kendal early access launching?

The pilot runs April–July 2026 in Kendal and the surrounding area. Sign up now at nowton.events/onboarding — full access to every feature, completely free for the duration of the pilot.

How do people discover my events?

Your events appear on our interactive map, making them easy to spot for locals and visitors. People can filter by date, category, and venue, and save events they're interested in.

How do you read social media posts?

We use official, permission-based APIs from Meta. You grant read-only access to your public posts only — we can't see private messages, personal accounts, or anything non-public. You can disconnect at any time.
